Why PGDM?

When I looked for colleges in the south india, PSG was definitely in my radar because of its reputation of being an astounding institute in academics for more than fifty years in the south. I applied and called for a group discussion and interview. In fact I would say that I gave my best shot at GD/PI. I was offered PGDM since I did not have a valid MAT score. I was desperately looking for specialisation in operations and the availability of that boosted my chances. When it comes to learning with work experience PGDM is the default. Even the lords of  Indian management studies IIM's offer PGDM not an MBA.

Then I backed myself and went ahead in pursuing this program. I chose this program because this will give me a psychological edge over the crowd and will help me in climbing the corporate ladder at a faster pace. I am a chemical engineer and my wings are clipped for being industrially preferred.

Presentation skills, communication techniques, business practices etc are some of the key deliverables that every management student must possess.Developing skills in leading and teamwork is an important facet of the pgdm. This anticipates practices in many of today's successful organisations. The interactive skills of effective communication, conflict management, negotiation and mobilising individuals towards common goals are the essential ingredients of effective management.

I am very confident that the PGDM program will suffice the best when it comes to skillful learning. skills set with combination of intelligence can  be the blessing of this program.

With all the above advantages, i chosen this program

I strongly believe, In life we don’t always do the right things, but we can do things right. As the karmayoga says, hard work hardly fails, am working hard to live up to my dreams.
